Demand for WALL-MAN and LIFTMAN pneumatic access platforms has increased enormously over the past three to four years and the factory’s capacity limit has been reached. The good news is that the construction of 540 m2 of new production space will begin in November 2008. This will provide increased capacity from April 2009. The long-term aim is to double production capacity.

Reglo AS is strengthening its position as a leading producer of pneumatic access platforms for the surface treatment of large vehicles. At this year’s Automechanika in Frankfurt between 16-21 September, visitors were shown demonstrations of WALL-MAN and LIFTMAN at Reglo’s stand in Hall 9. Interest was great, as usual, and the number of quality visits was approximately at the same level as previous years. “It’s just as important to maintain links with existing customers and dealers as it is to establish new contacts,” says Svein Ingebretsen, director of Reglo AS.

In a new preparation and paint facility for wings, constructed by Eisenmann UK for Airbus UK at Broughton, North Wales WALL-MAN platforms were specified to ensure that the operators could get the necessary safe access to all areas of the wing. Five bays, one for preparation and four for painting, were each equipped with four WALL-MAN platforms capable of carrying a man to a working height of over 6 metres and with the operator’s cage capable of moving forward by 1 metre to provide optimum access to all parts of the wing.

Reglo AS is pleased to announce that 2007 was yet another record year; results were 16% up on the previous year. WALL-MAN and LIFTMAN pneumatic work platforms are appreciated by more and more customers worldwide – and previous purchasers of WALL-MAN or LIFTMAN come back for repeat business as the demand increases.

For the sixth time, Reglo AS will display the pneumatic work platforms WALL-MAN and LIFTMAN at the Automechanika exhibition in Frankfurt am Main. This year the event will take place from 16-21 September 2008. As in 2006 our stand will be located in Hall 9.0; the stand number is A 51.
