Reglo AS, headquartered in Andebu, Norway, designs and manufactures pneumatically operated painting and access platforms: WALL-MAN and LIFTMAN. More than 20 years ago, Reglo’s founder and owner, Mr. H. Elvstedt, began developing new ways to improve spray booth safety and productivity. As is the case today, stepladders and scaffold towers were commonly used in industrial applications. Lifting platforms are usually electrically and/or hydraulically powered; these large and heavy items are hardly ideal for spray booths. The key Reglo innovation: the same compressed air used for painting can drive pneumatically powered access systems for personnel. In 1982, production of WALL-MAN and LIFTMAN platforms began. Initially, sales focused on domestic markets. However, the platforms soon became commercially successful, and won recognition and customers outside of Norway. Today, our access platforms are in daily use on all continents (except Antarctica). Reglo has agents and representatives worldwide to provide customers with sales and after-sales service assistance. Continuous product development, responsiveness to new safety standards and trends, and customer feedback have made Reglo the leading manufacturer of pneumatically operated access equipment. |
